Grasslands that are properly managed through grazing are healthier and can remove more carbon dioxide from the atmosphere than grasslands that are allowed to overgrow.

Raising cattle is a lifestyle as well as a business. Cow-calf farmers and ranchers live where they work - in the countryside, close to nature. Many farm families live on land that has been in their families for generations, with children who intend to make operating the farm their livelihood as well. Maintaining land, water and wildlife resources for future generations simply makes sense.
