Verified Beef Production

The Verified Beef Production program was developed to give cattle producers who follow Good Production Practices the opportunity to be recognized for their efforts. Cattle producers who choose to be recognized first attend a Verified Beef Production workshop. They then apply the applicable "must do's" from the Standard Operating Procedures and recommended practices on their own farm or ranch. Once they are following procedures consistently and have records to demonstrate practices, they may request program registration. A trained, independent auditor will visit the farm to verify that the operating procedures are being followed. Once the audit is successfully completed, the farm receives a certificate that the farmer, rancher or feedlot operator can use as a promotional tool when marketing their cattle program.
